This session covers: The Security Officer in North Carolina (1 Hour) Legal Issues for Security Officers (3 Hours) Important: You Must Complete the Remaining 12 Hours Within 30 Days After this session, NC law requires you to complete the remaining 12 hours within 30 days of your hire date. Course Schedule This 12-hour completion course is held on the first Monday and Tuesday of each month: First Monday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (4 hours) First Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8 hours) Prerequisites You must have already completed the 4-hour NC Unarmed Guard Pre-Duty session prior to enrolling in this course. This completion course must be taken within 30 days of your hire date to remain in compliance with NC law. Course Overview This 12-hour session completes your mandatory 16-hour NC Unarmed Guard Training certification as required by the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board. Building on the legal foundations covered in your pre-duty session, this course develops the practical skills you need to perform your duties safely and professionally.
